About Me

Either you like 50 or The Sugar Hill gang, Hip- Hop is now at the forefront of marketability, Have the lyrics and flow of Slick rick and Rakim, been silenced by the gun shots on every hood mixtape, have we become too commercial, Some say yes. I say that change is inevitable, and in an ever changing world where music is the reflection of our lives, there is nowhere else to go but Forward! This is a Forum where we will post and discuss all fascists of Hip-Hop, Also we will feature any Unsigned artists, IF you want to be judged by your peers this is where it can happen Sincerely Hip-Hop(ICU)

BOSS HOVA

Jay-Z is lucky he’s Jay-Z or he would have been sued by The Dream. In case you all didn’t notice, Jay-Z “borrows” from The Dream on “No Hook,” which is a nod to Dream’s “Shawty Is A 10.” Anyway, check out Dream’s explanation to Rhapsody of how he would handle it if it wasn’t Jay-Z doing the borrowing.

Did Jay talk to you before taking your line for his song, “No Hook”?

We were listening to his album and he was like “I got a surprise for you on this next record” and played it. People were calling me like “What you going to do? Get a percentage?” At the end of the day, it’s not business, it’s music. That’s flattering. That’s MF’ing Jay-Z! If it was anybody else, my attorneys would be sitting in front of their yard with a bag like, “Put all the money in here, we gonna meet Dream at Gucci.”
